Nurturing care

Miss Janice Out of School Care is a child-centered learning and care centre based in Victoria at Paradis Des Enfants, Seychelles. Established in April 2019, we provide quality care, education, and learning opportunities for children aged 20 months to 10 years through our Stay and Play, After School, and Holiday Care programs. With a capacity to accommodate up to 75 children at different times, we offer a flexible, stimulating, and inclusive environment where children can explore, learn, and grow.

Our Mission

Our mission is to enhance the education and overall well-being of children in Seychelles through a comprehensive out-of-school program. We achieve this by working closely with:

• Children and their families
• The Ministry of Education (Seychelles)
• Institute of Early Childhood Development (Seychelles)
• Policymakers, decision-makers and other Governmental departments
• Private Businesses
• Funders, donors, and researchers

By integrating progressive teaching methodologies, global best practices in Early Childhood Education, and research-driven approaches, we ensure that children receive the highest quality of care and learning.

We provide an Early Childhood experience tailored to children of various abilities, fostering an atmosphere of acceptance, understanding, and personal growth.

Dedicated Team & Quality Supervision

Our team of passionate and experienced educators ensures that each child receives individualized attention and engages in stimulating activities based on their interests. A high staff-to-child ratio is maintained to support safe, independent exploration:

• 1:7 for children aged 20 months to 3 years
• 1:8 for children aged 3.6 to 10 years

Each child is assigned a dedicated key person to provide personalized guidance and support, ensuring their overall well-being and development.
